We are a professional event & marketing promotions company. With a top of the line marketing team, stage crew & a roster of seasoned performers, we provide the best comedy events in the area. LHC provides everything necessary to run a successful event, working together with the venues staff (offering training and advice) to ensure a great event every single time.
LaughterHours Comedy takes care of pretty much everything. We work with your venues existing equipment or we provide our own. For a successful event, we do ask the venue for assistance with informing and training the staff on what to expect on event night and make sure all flyers and posters are kept up to date. We also strongly suggest a special offer be it food or drink to advertise along with the event. We do ask venues to help promote all events using their already existing advertising budget and programs. If your venue does not have an advertising program we can gladly assist you in put you in contact with one of our marketing consultants. Apart from that we really just need you to talk the event up to your regulars, keep our posters up, and keep the food and drink flowing on event night.
All of our events are crowd builders. Once the crowd is established, it’s very consistent, but building it varies between 1 to 3 months, depending on the promotion, and customer service both the venue and LaughterHours Comedy provides. Our comedy shows, Trivia Challenge nights, Karaoke Superstar Show, and special event shows attract all kinds of audience, all ready for a good time. While we do a lot of digital & print marketing and promotion, word of mouth is always the most effective tool, and for word of mouth to be efficient, both the venue and the event have to be top notch.
Word of mouth, social media outreach and digital advertising: everything from press releases, posters and flyers in the venue, to ads on Facebook, Google keywords and other websites. LaughterHours Comedy and it’s events also get a lot of publicity in local mainstream media markets regularly. Check out our website and press section for numerous examples.

To foster repeat business and keep our customers and fanbase interests peaked, we post regularly on our website and social media outlets like Facebook. Photographs and recaps for every event, complete with information on your venue, as well as ad space on all of our website pages helps to bolster this. It also allows our customers and fan-base to spread the word via social networking (of which we have over 10,000 Twitter followers and over 2,000 Facebook friends/fans). Finally, we maintain an email list for each venue, to keep up with our customers and fan-base request and concerns.

Due to confidentiality agreements with our clients, unfortunately we cannot discuss specific amounts, though we’ve heard from some venues it can range anywhere between three to ten times the revenue they were doing before contracting one of our events.
Of course you can, but coming up with the time, materials, proper entertainers, crew, promotions, and a following on your own, all while managing a bar, is possible but probably not cost effective. Most events are organized, promoted, and marketed by people with day jobs – and it shows. Marketing, promoting, and organizing events is our day job.
The venue decides what night the event will take place. While we are always looking for nights that are slower so we can help build up a customer base, we never overlook the possibility of bringing an event in on a busy night just to shake things up..
